A man came home from work late, tired and found his five years old son waiting for him at the door.
"Dad, may I ask you a question?"
"Yes, of course. What's the problem?"
"Daddy, how much do you make an hour?"
"It's none of your business. Why do you ask this question?" his father said angrily
"I just want to know, please tell me, how much do you make an hour?"
"If you must know, I make $20 an hour"
"Oh!" The child bowed his head. The child followed
"Dad, can you lend me 10 dollars?"
Father is angry.
"If you ask this question just to borrow money to buy a meaningless toy or something, go back to your room and go to bed and think about why you are so selfish."
"I work long hours every day, and I don't have time to play with you," said the child.
The father sat down and was angry with the child. How dare he ask such questions only for money?
About an hour later, he calmed down and began to think that he might be too hard on the boy.
Maybe he should use the $10 dollars to buy what the child really wants.
The father went to the door and opened the door.
"Are you sleeping, son?" he asked.
"Dad, still awake, I'm awake" the child answered.
"I thought I might have been too hard on you," said his father.
"I will close all out today. Here's 10 dollars you asked for"
The child sat up with a smile, "Dad, thank you.".
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.
The father saw that the child was rich and was about to lose his temper again.
The little boy slowly counted out his money, then looked at his father.
"Why do you need to have more money," said his father angrily.
"Because I didn't have enough, but I'm fine now.".
"Dad, I'm 20 dollars now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I'd like to have dinner with you."
